Fruitcake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 lb. butter
    3 eggs (beat them separate yolks and whites)
    8 oz. candied pineapple
    1/4 c. sweet milk
    1/2 tsp. baking powder (heaping)
    1 1/2 c. brown sugar
    2 c. flour
    2 c. pecans
    8 oz. candied cherries
    1/8 tsp. salt
    1/2 oz. lemon extract
Preparation
    Cream butter and sugar.
    Add egg yolks, then dry ingredients alternately with liquids.
    Add lemon extract, then fold in egg whites.
    Cook at 300\u00b0 for 1 1/2 hours.
