1 c. margarine
1 c. cooking oil
1 c. granulated sugar
1 c. confectioners sugar
2 eggs, well beaten
4 c. flour
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. soda
1 tsp. cream of tartar
1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation

Cream margarine and oil together.
Blend in two sugars, then the eggs.
Sift flour, salt, soda and cream of tartar together. Stir into the creamed mixture.
Add vanilla, mixing well.
Place small balls of dough on greased cookie sheet, flattening them with the bottom of a small, flat bottomed glass dipped in sugar.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 12 to 15 minutes.
