Orange Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. sugar
1/3 c. flour
1/4 tsp. salt
grated rind of 1 orange
1 c. orange juice
juice of 1/2 lemon
2 tsp. butter
3 egg yolks
Preparation

Mix sugar, flour, salt and grated rind.
Add fruit juice and cook in double boiler for 10 minutes, stirring until thickened. Add butter and egg yolks, beaten lightly.
Cook for two minutes and cool.
Pour into a baked pastry shell, top with a meringue and brown in a slow oven.
