Vegetable Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. beef stew
    1 onion, chopped
    46 oz. tomato juice
    1 1/2 tsp. beef base
    1/2 cabbage, shredded
    8 potatoes, chopped
    2 lb. mixed vegetables
Preparation
    Brown meat with salt, pepper and garlic salt to taste; add onion.
    Add tomato juice, 2 cans of water, beef base and cabbage and cook for 2 hours.
    Add potatoes and vegetables and cook for 45 minutes.
