Ingredients

3 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1 stick oleo
3/4 c. granulated sugar
3/4 c. brown sugar
1 egg
1/2 Tbsp. vanilla
6 oz. pkg. chocolate chips
1 c. chopped nuts
Preparation

In a bowl, combine first 3 ingredients with a wire whisk and set aside.
In another bowl, beat oleo and both sugars to a grainy paste.
Add egg and vanilla.
Then combine dry ingredients with oleo-sugar mixture.
When well mixed, add chocolate chips and nuts.
