Banana Nut Bread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/4 c. sugar
1/2 c. (1 stick) butter
2 eggs
1 1/2 c. mashed bananas
1/2 c. buttermilk
1 tsp. vanilla
2 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
1 c. chopped nuts
Preparation

Heat oven to 350\u00b0.
Grease bottom of pan.
Mix sugar and butter in bowl.
Stir eggs until blended.
Add bananas, buttermilk and vanilla.
Stir in flour, baking soda and salt until moistened. Stir in nuts.
Pour into pan.
Bake 8-inch loaf for about 1 hour; bake 9-inch loaf for about 1 hour and 15 minutes.
Cool 5 minutes. Loosen sides.
Remove from pan.
Cool completely before slicing. Wrap tightly; store at room temperature, up to 4 days, or refrigerate up to 10 days.
