Pork Chops Pizzaiola - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 (3/4-inch) thick pork chops
    1/2 tsp. black pepper
    2 garlic cloves, minced
    2 c. thickly sliced mushrooms
    2 large tomatoes, peeled, seeded and diced
    1 large green pepper, cut into 1-inch pieces
    1/2 c. dry white wine or broth
    1 tsp. dried oregano leaves
    1/2 tsp. salt
    4 Tbsp. grated Parmesan cheese
Preparation
    Sprinkle chops on both sides with black pepper.
    Heat in heavy skillet.
    Add chops and brown 5 minutes per side.
    Add garlic, mushrooms, tomatoes and green pepper.
    Place chops on top of vegetables.
    Add wine or broth.
    Sprinkle with oregano.
    Cover and cook 15 to 20 minutes until chops are no longer pink and vegetables are crisp.
    Good served with buttered noodles.
