Gingerbread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. molasses
    2 c. flour
    1 c. boiling water
    1/2 c. sugar
    1/2 c. butter
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. ginger
    2 tsp. cinnamon
    2 eggs, beaten
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1/2 c. nuts
    1/2 c. raisins
Preparation
    Mix molasses, butter and sugar with boiling water.
    Add sifted flour and baking soda to the spices.
    Add well beaten eggs, then stir in raisins and nuts.
    Bake in loaf or square pan for 40 minutes at approximately 350\u00b0.
