Black Walnut Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sugar
    2 sticks butter, at room temperature
    2 c. unsifted flour, minus 2 Tbsp.
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 c. black walnuts
    1 tsp. lemon extract
    1 tsp. vanilla extract
    5 large eggs
Preparation
    Put the ingredients into a large mixing bowl in order given, without mixing.
    With electric mixer, blend and then beat at high speed for 5 minutes.
    Grease and flour a 10-inch tube pan; pour batter into the pan and bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour and 15 minutes. Let cool in the pan before removing.
