My Favorite Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. Crisco
    2 sticks butter
    3 c. sugar
    1 tsp. vanilla
    5 eggs
    3 c. plain flour
    1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 c. milk
Preparation
    All ingredients at room temperature.
    Cream together Crisco, butter, eggs, vanilla and sugar.
    Add eggs, one at a time.
    Sift together flour, baking powder and salt.
    Add this to creamed mixture.
    Now add milk gradually as needed.
    Mix until batter is fluffy.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 in greased and floured tube pan for about 1 hour and 15 minutes.
