Cornbread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. cornmeal (water ground)
    4 Tbsp. whole wheat flour
    1 1/2 tsp. salt
    1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1 beaten egg
    1 1/4 c. buttermilk
    3 Tbsp. baking drippings
Preparation
    Mix dry ingredients well; add buttermilk, eggs and fat.
    Put in hot skillet.
    Cook at 425\u00b0 for 17 minutes.
    Serve hot. Makes 4 to 6 servings.
