Prune Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. butter or margarine
1 1/2 c. sugar (brown or granulated)
2 eggs
1 c. buttermilk
2 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. soda
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. nutmeg or cloves
1 tsp. allspice
1 c. cooked prunes, chopped
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. chopped nuts
Preparation

Cream together butter, sugar, eggs and buttermilk. Set aside. Sift together flour, soda, baking powder and spices.
Add flour mixture to the first 4 ingredients; mix well. Add prunes, vanilla and nuts. Blend well and pour into pan of choice. Bake at 350\u00b0 until done.
