Gingersnaps - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3/4 c. shortening
1 c. sugar
4 Tbsp. molasses
1 egg, well beaten
2 c. all-purpose flour
2 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. ginger
1 tsp. cloves
pinch of salt
Preparation

Cream sugar and shortening.
Add eggs and molasses.
Add sifted dry ingredients (not sugar).
Beat until smooth.
Roll into small ball and drop into sugar.
Put on greased cookie sheet.
Bake in 350\u00b0 oven about 10 minutes.
