Ingredients

1 stick butter
2 c. sugar
1/2 c. milk
1/2 c. cocoa
dash of salt
3 c. quick oats
1/2 c. peanut butter (creamy or crunchy)
1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation

Place butter, sugar, milk, cocoa and salt in heavy saucepan over low heat until butter melts.
Stir frequently with wooden spoon.
When butter has melted and starts to boil, let boil 1 minute.
Remove from heat.
Add oats, peanut butter and vanilla. Mix well.
Drop by spoonfuls on wax paper to cool.
