Rhubarb Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 c. shortening
1 1/2 c. light brown sugar
1 egg
1 c. milk
2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1/4 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla
2 1/2 c. rhubarb, cut into 1-inch pieces
1/2 c. white sugar, mixed with 1 tsp. cinnamon (topping)
Preparation

Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
Measure all ingredients into a large bowl. Mix together.
Pour into greased and floured 13 x 9-inch pan.
Bake for 40 minutes.
Serve with Cool Whip.
