Biscuits Supreme - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sifted flour
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. cream of tartar
    4 tsp. baking powder
    2 Tbsp. sugar
    1/2 c. shortening
    2/3 c. milk
Preparation
    Sift
    all
    dry
    ingredients together; cut in shortening with pastry
    blender.
    Add milk, all at once; stir only until the dough
    will
    follow
    fork around the bowl.
    Turn out on a floured surface.
    Knead
    gently
    for
    1 minute.
    Roll out 1/2 inch thick and cut with a biscuit cutter.
    Bake at 450\u00b0 for 10 minutes in a greased baking pan.
