Banana Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. plain all-purpose flour
    1 c. sugar
    2 ripe bananas, mashed
    1 c. shortening
    1 tsp. soda
    2 eggs
    1 c. chopped nuts
Preparation
    Cream shortening and sugar.
    Add eggs.
    Add bananas.
    Sift flour and soda, add to mixture.
    Pour in chopped nuts.
    Pour mixture into greased loaf pan.
    Bake one hour at 350\u00b0.
    Remove from pan when slightly cool.
    (The bread is better when let mellow two or three days.)
