King Ranch Casserole - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 pkg. corn tortillas
boiling chicken soup or broth
1 large fryer, baked, boned and cut up into small pieces
1 large onion, chopped fine
1 large bell pepper, chopped fine
1/2 lb. grated Cheddar cheese
1/2 tsp. chili powder
garlic salt to taste
1 can cream of chicken soup
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1 can crushed Ro-Tel tomatoes
Preparation

Soak corn tortillas in boiling chicken soup or broth until just wilted.
Line baking dish with them and let them come up over sides.
Layer the rest of the ingredients in dish in order listed. Bake at 375\u00b0 for 45 minutes.
Good served with tossed green salad with avocados and chives and buttered French bread.
Serves 6.
