Potato Puffs - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. cold mashed potatoes
1 egg, beaten
1/2 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. pepper
1/2 c. grated American cheese
fine dry bread crumbs
shortening (to fry with)
Preparation

Combine potatoes, egg, salt, pepper and cheese.
Shape into balls and roll in bread crumbs.
Preheat shortening to 400\u00b0. Place potato puffs
in a single layer in the fry basket.
Cover and fry for 3 minutes or until brown.
Lift basket and drain. Serve hot.
Makes 4 servings.
