Old Fashioned Molasses Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 c. Crisco
1 c. sugar
1 egg
1 c. molasses
1 c. hot water
1 tsp. soda
flour

Preparation

Cream Crisco and sugar.
Add one egg and mix well.
Stir in molasses.
Stir soda into hot water and mix with molasses mixture. Add flour gradually to make a stiff enough dough to roll.
Roll on floured board and cut out shapes with a cookie cutter.
Put on greased cookie sheet and bake in a 350\u00b0 oven for 12 minutes.
