Christmas Eve She Crab Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. milk
    1/4 tsp. ground mace
    2 pieces lemon peel
    3 c. canned Alaskan King crab, drained
    1/2 c. butter
    2 c. whipping cream
    1/4 c. finely crushed cracker crumbs (more if desired)
    salt and pepper to taste
    2 tsp. sherry
    2 egg yolks, hard-boiled and crumbled
Preparation
    In top of double boiler heat milk, mace and lemon peel.
    Let simmer 7 minutes.
    Add crab, butter and cream.
    Heat over boiling water.
    Remove peel.
    Add cracker crumbs and seasonings and let stand.
    Add sherry and crumbled egg yolks to bottom of soup cup before serving.
    Serves 6.
