Taco Burgers - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. ground beef
    1 (16 oz.) can tomatoes, cut up
    1 tsp. chili powder
    1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
    3/4 tsp. garlic salt
    1/2 tsp. sugar
    1/2 tsp. dry mustard
    8 hamburger buns, split and toasted
    2 c. shredded American cheese
Preparation
    In skillet, brown meat; drain off excess fat.
    Add tomatoes, chili powder, Worcestershire sauce, garlic salt, sugar and dry mustard.
    Stir well, breaking up large pieces of tomato.
    Bring to a boil; reduce heat.
    Simmer gently, uncovered, for 15 to 20 minutes, or until thick.
    Spoon into toasted buns.
    Sprinkle with lettuce and shredded cheese.
    Makes 8 servings.
