Hot Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 qt. tomatoes
    1 c. hot pepper
    1/2 c. sugar
    1/8 c. salt
    4 garlic cloves
    1 qt. chopped onion
    2 c. white vinegar
Preparation
    Combine tomatoes, onion, sugar, salt, garlic cloves and white vinegar.
    Boil slow 4 hours.
    Cook in canner for 45 minutes in hot water bath.
    Makes 16 quarts.
