Shrimp Scampi - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 to 1 1/2 lb. shrimp (fresh or frozen), shelled and deveined
    6 Tbsp. butter or margarine
    1 Tbsp. green onions, chopped
    4 garlic cloves, minced
    1/4 to 1/2 tsp. lemon peel, shredded
    1 Tbsp. lemon juice
    1/4 tsp. salt
    dash of bottled hot pepper sauce
    rice, hot and cooked
    parsley, chopped
    lemon peel, shredded
Preparation
    Thaw
    shrimp,
    if
    frozen.
    Remove
    shells
    and devein. Gently pat
    dry with a paper towel.
    In a large skillet, melt butter over medium heat; add onions, garlic, lemon peel, lemon juice, salt
    and hot pepper sauce.
    Cook until boiling point, add\tshrimp and cook for about 5 minutes or until shrimp turns pink.
    Serve with hot cooked rice, top with parsley and lemon peel.
    Yield: 4 servings.
