Ingredients

1 c. butter (2 cubes)
1/2 tsp. vanilla
2 c. sugar
2 eggs
3 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
2 tsp. baking powder
Preparation

In large mixing bowl, mix first four ingredients with wooden spoon or fork until creamy.
Then fold in the next three ingredients until well mixed.
Divide into 2 balls and chill for 1/2 hour.
Roll out on pastry sheet lightly dusted with flour. Roll dough 1/8-inch thick.
Cut out and place about 1 1/2 inches apart on lightly oiled cookie sheet.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 8 to 10 minutes, depending on your oven.
