Gingersnaps - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sifted plain flour
    1 Tbsp. ginger
    2 tsp. baking soda
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1/2 tsp. salt
    3/4 c. shortening
    1 c. sugar
    1 egg
    1/4 c. molasses
Preparation
    Sift together flour, ginger, soda, cinnamon and salt.
    Cream shortening and sugar, beat in eggs and molasses.
    Sift dry ingredients over creamed mixture and blend well.
    Form teaspoons of dough into balls and coat with granulated sugar.
    Bake on ungreased cookie sheet at 325\u00b0.
