Tailgate Beans - cooking recipe
Ingredients

up to 1/2 lb. ground beef, browned and drained
up to 1/2 lb. bacon, cooked and chopped
1/8 to 1/4 c. chopped onion, sauteed in bacon drippings
1/3 c. brown sugar
1/4 c. ketchup
1/4 c. barbecue sauce
2 Tbsp. mustard
1/4 c. molasses
1/2 tsp. chili powder
1/2 tsp. pepper
1 (1 lb.) can kidney beans
1 (1 lb.) can pork and beans
1 (1 lb.) can lima beans or baby butter beans
Preparation

Cook beef and bacon until done and pour off fat. Saute the onion in bacon drippings. Combine all ingredients. Bake in casserole or large pan at 350\u00b0 until bubbly (45 minutes to 1 hour).
