El Pedregal'S Oatmeal-Raisin Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/4 c. butter or margarine
    1/2 c. sugar
    1 1/8 c. brown sugar
    1 egg
    1 tsp. vanilla
    2 c. flour
    1 tsp. baking soda
    3/4 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1/4 tsp. nutmeg
    2 1/2 c. Quaker Oats
    1 c. raisins
Preparation
    In a large bowl, cream together butter and sugars.
    Add egg while mixing; add vanilla.
    Sift together flour, baking soda, salt, cinnamon and nutmeg and add slowly to the sugar mixture. Stir in oats and raisins.
    Use an ice cream scoop to shape dough into balls and place 3 inches apart on a greased cookie sheet. Press each down lightly and bake 13 minutes at 350\u00b0.
    Makes 15 large cookies.
    You can drop by tablespoon for a smaller cookie. Cooking time remains the same.
