Barbecue Beans - cooking recipe
Ingredients

32 oz. can Van Camp's pork and beans
1 c. brown sugar
3/4 c. barbecue sauce
2 capfulls liquid smoke
2 Tbsp. chopped dried onion or 1/4 c. freshly chopped onion
1/4 c. bell pepper (if desired)
Preparation

Empty contents of beans.
Add brown sugar, smoke sauce, onion and barbecue sauce of your choice.
For added flavor, add bacon. Bake, covered, at 325\u00b0 for 1 hour.
After 1 hour, remove lid and stir contents.
Cover and bake one more hour.
