Apple Fritters - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. flour
1 egg
1 tsp. baking powder
1/8 tsp. salt
1/4 c. or more milk
Preparation

Beat egg and add sifted flour, baking powder and salt.
Add enough milk to make batter.
Peel a few apples and core the center.
Slice crosswise about 1/4-inch thick.
Dip in the batter and fry slow in an aluminum skillet.
Iron will get too hot and apples must be cooked soft pretty fast.
Cover to get done. Uncover to crisp.
Sprinkle with sugar and cinnamon.
Eat hot!
