Heritage Chocolate Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2/3 c. butter or margarine, soften
1 3/4 c. sugar
3 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla extract
2 c. all-purpose flour
1/2 c. cocoa
1 tsp. baking powder
3/4 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1 1/2 c. buttermilk or sour milk
1/3 c. butter or margarine
1/3 c. cocoa
2 2/3 c. confectioners sugar
1/3 c. milk
1 tsp. vanilla extract
Preparation

Melt butter and cocoa on low until smooth and thickened.
Pour into small bowl and cool.
Add vanilla.
Add sugar and milk alternately until desired consistency.
