Caramel Pudding - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 c. butter
    1 1/2 c. cream
    1 1/2 c. white sugar
    1 1/2 c. flour
    2 tsp. salt
    2 tsp. vanilla
    6 eggs
Preparation
    Caramel together butter, cream and sugar until real dark; turn off heat and add 5 quarts milk.
    Let caramel melt.
    Add remaining ingredients.
    Cook like cornstarch.
