Rice Pilau - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 c. sugar
2 lb. chicken legs
1 onion, sliced thin
1 Tbsp. curry powder
1 tsp. seasoned salt
1 c. raw rice
Preparation

In heavy skillet, heat and stir sugar until it browns and melts, being careful not to let it burn.
Add chicken, turning to coat with melted sugar.
Brown slightly.
Add rice, onion and seasoning, stirring a little.
Add water to cover.
Simmer, uncovered, until rice is cooked, adding water as needed.
Let boil dry at the end.
Serves 4.
