Grandmother Hillhouse'S Funny Tasting Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients

2 small or 1 large box lime jello
2 c. boiling water
1 c. or 1 (13 oz.) can evaporated milk
2 Tbsp. horseradish
2 Tbsp. or more lemon juice
1 c. drained, crushed pineapple
1 c. chopped pecans
1 c. cottage cheese
1 c. mayonnaise

Preparation

Mix the first 2 ingredients together. Stir until jello dissolves completely. Chill until syrupy.
Add next 3 ingredients. Chill until almost set. Stir in the remaining ingredients.
Chill. Makes 6 to 8 cups.
