Polish Bow Ties(Kruiciki) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    8 egg yolks
    1 c. sour cream
    1 Tbsp. sugar
    1 tsp. vanilla or rum flavoring
    1/4 tsp. salt
    3 c. all-purpose flour
    powdered sugar
Preparation
    Combine yolks, sour cream, sugar, vanilla and salt.
    Add flour and make a stiff dough.
    Place on floured board and knead until smooth, but not sticky.
    Divide dough in two or three parts. Cover the parts with bowl.
    Roll one part of dough very thin.
    Cut into strips.
    Cut each piece in center and pull through center. Fry in deep fat.
    Cool and sprinkle with powdered sugar.
