Roasted Pepper Pasta - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pkg. penne noodles
    1 red pepper
    1 yellow pepper
    2 green peppers
    olive oil
    kosher salt
    1 onion
    1 can diced tomatoes
    2 garlic cloves, minced
    fresh basil
    fennel seed
Preparation
    Cook noodles as directed. Slice peppers in 1/2 and hollow out inside. Place hollow side down on a cookie sheet. Wipe olive oil on the outside of peppers and sprinkle with kosher salt. Broil until peppers turn black (approximately 15 minutes). Wipe skin off with a paper towel and thinly slice. In a pan, add diced onion, diced tomatoes, garlic and fennel seed. Add peppers and toss with cooked pasta and fresh basil. Serve with Parmesan cheese.
