M'Jaddara - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 C lentils
1/2 C basmati rice
1 1/2 tsp salt
3/4 tsp pepper
1 1/2 tsp cumin
1 onion
1/4 C olive oil
Preparation
-
Wash lentils under running water.
Put them in a cooking pan with just one cup of water and bring them to boil over high heat, 5-7 minutes.
Lower heat and cook, covered for 15-20 minutes or until water is absorbed.
