Caramel Corn - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. margarine
    2 c. brown sugar
    1/2 c. corn syrup (light or dark)
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. soda
    1 tsp. vanilla
    6 qt. popped corn
Preparation
    Melt margarine in heavy saucepan. Stir in sugar, syrup and salt.
    Bring to a boil, stirring constantly.
    Boil without stirring 5 minutes.
    Remove from heat.
    Stir in soda and vanilla. Gradually pour over popcorn, mixing well.
    Turn into two shallow 12 x 15-inch pans. Bake in preheated oven at 250\u00b0 for 20 minutes. Empty into large containers.
    Work fast.
    Break apart.
    When cool, store in airtight container (Ziploc bags).
