Meat Loaf With Red Gravy - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 1/2 to 3 lb ground meat or ground sirloin
    1 egg
    1 cup bread crumbs
    1 small onion, minced
    salt and pepper to taste
    1 or 2 squirts of ketchup
    2 small cans or 1 large can of tomato soup
Preparation
    Mix together the first 6 ingredients until well blended. Then shape into an elongated loaf.
    Place meat loaf into a 9x13 pan or small roaster.
    Next pour tomato soup all around the meat loaf, along with 1 can of water.
    Slightly mix water and soup with a fork.
    Cover
    and bake in a 350 degree oven for 1 1/2 hours or until juices run clear when forked.
    Baste with gravy one or twice during baking time.
    Uncover the last 15-20 minutes to brown.
