Sweet Potato Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2/3 c. shortening
    2 tsp. baking soda
    2 2/3 c. sugar
    1 1/2 tsp. salt
    4 eggs
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1 tsp. nutmeg
    2 c. cooked, sweet potatoes
    2/3 c. water
    2/3 c. chopped pecans
    3 1/3 c. all-purpose flour
    2/3 c. raisins
    1/2 tsp. baking powder
Preparation
    Cream shortening; add sugar, beating well.
    Add eggs and mix well.
    Stir in sweet potatoes and water.
    Combine flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, cinnamon and nutmeg.
    Add to creamed mixture, mixing well.
    Fold in pecans and raisins.
    Spoon into 2 well-greased 9 x 5 x 3-inch loaf pans.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for approximately 1 hour or until it tests done.
