Ingredients

3/4 c. butter, softened
3/4 c. sugar
1 tsp. brandy extract (may substitute vanilla)
2 egg yolks (save whites for later)
2 c. plain flour
1 tsp. salt
chopped pecans
Preparation

Mix butter, sugar, brandy extract and egg yolks in food processor.
Add flour and salt to butter and sugar and mix in food processor.
Roll dough mixture into 1-inch balls.
Coat in 2 egg whites saved from before, then roll in chopped pecans.
Put on greased cookie sheet.
Press each ball with a deep thumbprint in middle of each cookie.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 12 to 15 minutes.
Check frequently.
