Molasses Doughnuts - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 eggs
    2/3 c. molasses
    1/2 c. sugar
    1/2 Tbsp. butter
    1 c. sour milk
    3 c. flour
    1 tsp. cream of tartar
    2 tsp. soda
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. ginger
    1/2 tsp. nutmeg
    1/2 tsp. cinnamon
Preparation
    Beat eggs.
    Add molasses,
    sugar
    and butter.
    Sift dry ingredients and alternate with the milk.
    Add flour, enough to make a soft dough that
    handles
    easily.
    Roll
    out on floured board to 1/4-inch thickness.
    Cut with doughnut cutter and fry in fat at 350\u00b0 to 375\u00b0.
