Upside-Down Onion Corn Bread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 c. thinly sliced onion rings
3 Tbsp. butter or margarine
1 (8 1/2 oz.) pkg. corn bread mix
Preparation

In skillet, saute onion rings in butter until soft, about 5 to 8 minutes.
Spoon into bottom of an 8 x 8 x 2-inch baking pan. Prepare corn bread mix according to package directions.
Pour batter over onions and spread evenly.
Bake in preheated 350\u00b0 oven for 25 to 30 minutes or until done. Turn out onto serving plate. Cut into squares. Serve hot.
