Sweet Potato Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. cooked sweet potatoes, pureed
    1 c. firmly packed light brown sugar
    1/2 tsp. cinnamon
    1/4 tsp. allspice, nutmeg and salt
    3 eggs, beaten
    1/2 pt. half and half
    4 Tbsp. melted butter
    1 unbaked 9-inch pie shell
Preparation
    In a bowl, mix all ingredients except pie shell.
    Mound filling into unbaked pie shell; smooth surface with a spatula. Bake in a preheated 450\u00b0 oven for 10 minutes.
    Reduce heat to 250\u00b0 and continue baking for 20 minutes or until wooden pick inserted in center comes out clean.
    Serve hot or cold.
    Maybe even with whipped cream.
