Frankfurters In A Loaf - cooking recipe
Ingredients

6 frankfurters
6 julienne strips Cheddar or American cheese
2 Tbsp. sweet relish or catsup
1 c. Bisquick baking mix
1/4 c. milk
1 tsp. parsley flakes
1 egg
Preparation

Heat oven to 400\u00b0.
Grease loaf pan (9 x 5 x 3-inch).
Split franks lengthwise, not cutting completely through.
Fill each with a strip of cheese, relish or catsup.
Mix remaining ingredients with fork.
Beat vigorously 30 seconds.
Spread in pan.
Arrange franks crosswise on dough in pan, curving slightly and pressing to fit pan.
Press into dough slightly.
Bake until bread is light brown, about 20 minutes.
To serve, cut bread between frankfurters.
Makes 3 or 4 servings.
