Bread Dressing For Chicken Or Turkey - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    giblets
    1 c. celery
    1 1/2 qt. dry bread crumbs
    1 1/2 qt. dry corn bread
    2 eggs, beaten
    3 Tbsp. parsley
    1/2 c. chopped onion
    1/2 c. butter
    1 1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. pepper
    1/2 tsp. sage
Preparation
    Cook giblets in water until tender.
    When cool, chop them fine.
    Saute celery and onion in butter.
    Mix all ingredients and add enough giblet water to moisten thoroughly.
    This makes enough to stuff a 12 pound turkey or it may be cooked on top of the stove in a cast-iron skillet.
    Stir continuously (add water or chicken broth as needed).
    Dressing may get crispy on the bottom if you like.
