New Method Custard Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

4 eggs
3 c. milk
3/4 c. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1/8 tsp. salt
Preparation

Beat eggs slightly, add sugar, milk, vanilla and salt.
Place over low heat, stirring constantly.
When steam shows, remove from heat and pour into a 9-inch unbaked pie shell.
Sprinkle with nutmeg.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes or until a silver knife comes out clean.
(This custard pie never gets watery or soaks crust.)
