Orange Bread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 1/2 c. sifted flour
2 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. soda (baking)
1/2 tsp. salt
3/4 c. sugar
2 Tbsp. salad oil
1 egg, beaten
3/4 c. orange juice
Preparation

Sift dry ingredients into a large mixing bowl.
Add shortening, egg, orange juice and grated peel of orange.
Stir until mixture is dampened, but not smooth.
Pour into 8 1/2 x 4 1/2 x 2 1/2-inch loaf pan.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 55 minutes.
