Bacon-Stuffed Mushrooms - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 lb. fresh mushrooms
8 bacon slices
1/2 yellow onion, minced
12 oz. cream cheese (at room temperature)
grated Cheddar cheese (as needed)
Preparation

Clean mushrooms with a damp paper towel; remove and chop stems. In a skillet over medium heat, fry bacon until brown.
Remove bacon to paper towels and leave a small amount of grease in skillet.
Add onion and chopped stems and cook until tender.
Add crumbled bacon and the cream cheese to the mixture and stir to melt.
Stuff mushroom caps with the mixture and cover with some Cheddar cheese. Bake at 350\u00b0 on slightly greased baking sheet for 12 to 15 minutes.
