Ingredients

2 egg whites (room temperature)
2/3 c. sugar
1/4 tsp. cream of tartar
1 c. chopped pecans
1 pkg. chocolate chips
1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation

Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
Beat egg whites until stiff.
Gradually add sugar and cream of tartar.
Stir in pecans, chips and vanilla. Drop by spoonfuls on foil cookie sheets.
Turn oven off when you place cookies in.
Do not open for at least 8 hours.
